Well, we all knew it was bound to happen eventually. I’ve entered the blogosphere (that’s me right there, in case you were wondering…looking very sassy if I do say so myself, I think that’s the “Blue Steel” look)! So if you’re reading the post, congratulations, you’re a member of a very elite group. When I’m a famous blogger one day, you can say “I read her VERY first post!”
So what sort of exciting things will you be reading about in the future? Well, get ready for a wild ride! Okay, maybe not so wild, my life is really not that eventful…BUT I do have deep insights to share (for instance, some people on HGTV’s Househunters are really dumb…they always say “I don’t like the paint color,” people, when you’re spending half a million dollars on a house, I bet you can afford a can of paint), helpful hints to share (did you know that Reynolds wrap has little inserts to push into the sides so that roll stays in place…really!), and humorous anecdotes (like the time my hubby was out of town and I was halfway through painting two rooms in my house, my inlaws were days away from dropping by for a week, and my dog got sprayed by a skunk!). If that’s not enough, you can read about:
- Culinary creations – Well, they’re usually not my creations, but merely my attempts to replicate the creations of other, more talented people.
- Adventures with my hubby and our golden retriever, Paul – What more can I say?
- Helpful home decorating tips – Look out Martha! Okay, once again, really I just steal all my ideas from her, please don’t tell anyone!
- My attempts to be a kind and loving military spouse – Really!
- Organization ideas – This is going to be awesome…if you’re a freak like me and love things to be neat and tidy.
- Pop culture commentary – As I was a film studies student in college and consume a ridiculous amount of pop culture, I feel that it is my duty to comment on these things every now and again.
- Party planning – Last, but definitely not least, I invite you to follow me in my various party planning activities…not that I entertain a lot, but when I do, it can go a little over the top!
On that note, enjoy your evening, and meet back here tomorrow for post number two!
