So I’m gearing up for the great Man Cave Redecoration of 2010. Right now, I’m just letting the ideas percolate, but while perusing the mainstream furniture sites for ideas, I stumbled across Restoration Hardware’s new trunk collection. Have you seen it? I’m a little obsessed!
This is the piece I’m particularly smitten with…the tv stand:
So it looks like a standard trunk, but the front opens up to reveal spaces for your media devices:
And the back opens up so you have access to wires and such:
They have a variety of other pieces, too, including a desk (that can fold up and be rolled into a corner):
And a “cube”:
They also come in a stainless steel finish, which I don’t like quite as much, but I’m an equal opportunity blogger, so I’m showing you all the options!
At $1895, I don’t know that I’ll be purchasing the media trunk anytime soon, but maybe I can try to retrofit an old trunk in a similar fashion. Either way, I think they’re pretty nifty!

Hmm. Maybe a little too precious for a man-cave? WAY cooler to make your own. I know where you can find cool old trunks, too!
