I hope you all had a great weekend and a wonderful Easter! Here’s what we (and by “we” I mean my hubby) were up to this weekend:
Anyone who knows me, knows that I am, well, how shall I say this…”not so successful in the gardening department,” “horticulturally challenged,” or maybe “proud owner of a brown thumb.” Luckily, my yard is a bit unruly, so “gardening” to me mainly means killing plants before they get out of control.
My hubby and I recently decided we wanted a little garden. Nothing too fancy, just a few small plants. Unfortunately, we don’t have a great place to put one in. So my hubby found these really cool planters designed for growing veggies. I have decided to abstain from the gardening and leave it to my “farmer” hubby. The boxes have a water reservoir at the bottom and a tube that you pour the water into, so it goes to the reservoir.
We bought two of them and my hubby planted green onions, lettuce, radishes, cherry tomatoes, and green beans. I’m so excited to see how these work and have our own little crop of veggies. Soooo…I will stay away, far away, from these guys until it’s time to do the pickin’! Stay tuned!

Hmm, guess you didn’t inherit the “farm” gene.
