So as I’m sure you’ve gathered, it’s been a whirlwind of a summer with guests in and out of our house since mid-May…I’m starting to feel like we run a boarding house! And while that can sometimes be a bit overwhelming (especially for a perfectionist like me), it’s also been a TON of fun. Tonight, as I sat around the dinner table for hours with my hubby and our current guests, Keith & Larry, I thought to myself what an honor it is to host so many wonderful people in our home. Even though my hubby is stationed here in California, and we’re thousands of miles away from family members, we’ve managed to find some unbelievable friends here and we still have a regular stream of family members who make the trek out West to come stay with us!
Nothing makes me happier than having a full house, eating dinner around our dining room table, sharing a bottle (or three) of wine, and enjoying amazing company! So, to all the guests who have stayed with us thus far…thanks for coming to visit! And for all you people out there…book your room now!
