Hey there blog reader! I’m Kate, This American Wife. I’m a midwest girl transplanted to Southern California as I follow my military officer husband around the world. Well, since becoming a military wife, I’ve only lived in Southern California (I’m told that I’m very lucky), but I have dreams of following my hubby to far away naval bases someday. My hubby and I recently purchased a house, adopted a golden retriever, Paul, and in March 2011 I gave birth to our twin boys, Miles and Oliver! When not wrangling babies, I spend my time working as a fundraiser, planning my next party, pretending to be a cook and foodie, decorating our house, and watching movies.
